Nordic ID has released a new version of the well known PL3000 handheld computer with long range UHF RFID reader.

The PL3000 weighs only 500g and its low power consumption and ergonomic design allow it to be used single–handed, for long periods of time.

The PL3000 has a new Windows CE 6.0 operating system, a powerful processor and memory technology, which improves useability and security. Nordic ID has combined powerful data collection, processing and storing capacity with a variety of wireless communication technologies including WLAN, GSM and 3G and Bluetooth.
