APCI has been involved in steel coil processing for over 10 years.

Various coil processing line projects have been undertaken involving automation and control of all aspects of the production process

• Complete Line automation for Cut To Length Lines, Slitting and Polishing lines
   
• Packing line automation including downlayer automation with an interface to the tooling software to eliminate the need to re-enter coil widths
   
• Drive upgrades including replacement of Unico drive systems
   
• Stacker automation and control including setting storage and retrieval (recipes) for standard products
   
• Edge guidance, pit loop control including double loop pits
   
• Integration. Our specialty is integrating with legacy control systems
   
• Safety Systems design (from a customer risk analysis) and implementation. Including multiple zones and multiple Safety Categories to optimise operator safety and machine throughput
