Michael LeVene has been appointed as a board member for the Water Industry Alliance. APC Integration has always had a strong presence in the water industry and having our Business Development Executive sitting on the board of the WIA further confirms our comittment to this industry.
12/07/2011: GE Solutions Provider
APC Integration is now a GE Solutions Provider. APC Integration can now provide support to GE products such as the iFix SCADA platform commonly used in the Water Industry & Factory Automation.
12/07/2011: Barker Inlet Stormwater Scheme
APC Integration has won the Electrical and Control contract for the Barket Inlet Stormwater Scheme helping South Australia Lead the Nation in Stormwater Reuse
The Barker Inlet Stormwater Reuse Scheme is an $8.15 million project to harvest, treat, store and distribute stormwater from the Barker Inlet wetlands at Wingfield to industrial, commercial and irrigation customers in the Regency Park area.
The Scheme will provide 350 million litres of dual reticulation standard stormwater per annum, reducing the use of potable water and thereby improving the security of water supplies for metropolitan Adelaide.
Establishing the Barker Inlet Stormwater Reuse Scheme will involve construction of the following components:
- Infrastructure to harvest stormwater from the Barker Inlet wetland system
- Equipment for storing treated stormwater deep underground for future use and supply to industrial, commercial and irrigation customers (via a process called Aquifer Storage and Recovery or “ASR”)
- Chlorination and UV disinfection systems to treat stormwater to a dual reticulation standard
- Water distribution mains to Wingfield, Regency Park and Angle Park
The Scheme is jointly funded by the Australian Government, the Government of South Australia and SA Water.

Nordic ID Merlin HF RFID and Nordic ID Merlin HF RFID BLADE replace Nordic ID PL3000 HF RFID units
Nordic ID PL3000 HF versions will be replaced by Nordic ID Merlin HF RFID and Nordic ID Merlin HF RFID Blade. The EOL versions can be purchased until 30th September 2011 and after EOL if agreed separately. Service and support of the EOL versions is planned to continue until 31st March 2016

The web page for APC Integration has now been updated to reflect our new logo and corporate image. We will be adding further content to the web page over time and increased functionality.

01/04/2010: Aldinga Managed Aquifer Recharge Project
APCI has won the tender for the Aldinga Managed Aquifer Recharge Project as well as the Hallet Cove WWPS Odour Reduction Tender. This confirms APCI’s ability to deliver water projects with high cost efficiency.
APCI has also won the contract to build panels for the Lonsdale Power Station Relocation.
01/03/2010: ACI Glass control panels provisioned
APC Integration has completed the design, build and delivery of 27 control panels and power distribution boards for use in the plant expansion of a major glass manufacturer.
Despite the tight time frame, equipment supply difficulties and late design changes, a continuous stream of panels were built and delivered to site over a 3 month period leading up to Christmas. Each panel was supplied with a complete set of drawings.
Comments from the site Electrical & Instrument Manger include “All the APCI panels are well designed and of the highest quality with an attention to detail that is appreciated by myself, installation electricians and the Client. APCI quality has allowed us to commission critical plant utilities smoothly and on time.”
This job reaffirms APC Integration’s reputation as a supplier for quality control panels whether for turn key projects or on a supply only basis
09/12/2009: MACS distribution
APCI are now distributors for MACS (Measurement and Analysis Camera Systems)
Dealing with high speed cameras brands such as AOS, Fastec, Xcitex and Specialised Imaging, from 60 to 200 million frames per second.
The high speed cameras can be used to solve production issues such as aligning flying shears, bottling lines and packing lines. Other uses include material fracture and explosive propagation analysis.
A range of products also exists for analysis of athletes and even slowmo replay for sporting events. Units are also available for hire.
01/09/2009: New Business Development Executive
APCI has appointed Michael LeVene as the Business Development Executive to take over the role of Tony Shirley who is retiring after many years of service.
08/07/2009: Service Agreement continued with CNC Design
APCI's service agreement with CNC Design has been renewed. This consolidates APCI's position as the Siemens motion control spares and service agent for CNC machine control in SA.
27/05/2009: APCI's PackNTrack (now called ePak)
Costi & Sons citrus packers at Loxton selected to install APCI's PackNTrack labelling system for their second grading line, incorporating a Visy LabelAir Print+Apply labeller.
20/05/2009: FertBlend Solution Chosen
Direct Farm Inputs chose APCI to install our FertBlend fertiliser mixing and control system at their new plant at Kilburn. Included with this was a Receival and Dispatch system linked to DFI's accounting system to provide stock control and reporting.
11/05/2009: New company DLM Automation
In early May, after the announcement of the Managing Directors intention to withdraw from the business, three key staff elected to proceed with a management buyout. This process has resulted in the creation of a new entity called DLM Automation Pty Ltd. DLM Automation, trading as APC Integration, owns all the assets and intellectual property of APC Integration Pty Ltd to enable it to carry on the business as usual.
APC Integration was first established as a system integrator in 1984. That long and successful position in the marketplace will continue because for our customers nothing has really changed. APCI still work out of the same premises with the same team of professional staff.
10/10/2008: Mobile Workforce Manager (MWM)
APC Integration's Mobile Workforce Manager (MWM) optimises the efficiency and traceability of mobile workforce operations. The system includes WLAN, 3G and Next G communication options for real time data transfer and HF and UHF RFID options for site, asset and equipment verification.

24/01/2008: AssetTracker
Edith Cowan University has chosen APCI's AssetTracker asset management system to manage storage and display of its 3500 artworks across 3 campuses. An RFID tag, fixed to the back of each picture can be scanned without the need to handle the artwork enabling easy stocktakes and reliable management of exhibitions.
01/12/2007: Addison McKee Service Agent
APC Integration has been appointed by Addison McKee as their Australasian Service Agent. Addison McKee is the world leader in tube bending technology, based in the United Kingdom. Their machines are in many factories throughout the world.
07/03/2007: Nordic ID releases PL3000 RFID
Nordic ID have released the new PL3000 Hand Held Computer with Long Range UHF RFID capabilities. This gives the PL3000 an effective range of up to a metre - making it even more flexible in warehousing and logistic applications.
